Meditation began at a young age while spending a great deal of time in nature, sitting in trees, walking through streams, and collecting rocks. This earth connection laid the groundwork to discover and develop my intuitive nature to work closely with the aspects of the human body on an energetic, physical and emotional level. I believe meditation and yoga work synonymously as valuable tools for a happy and healthy life.
As a certified Integral Hatha Yoga instructor, interweaving the limbs of yoga becomes a natural practice of daily meditation blending a variety of styles and methods. I believe there is something right for each of us and we align differently every day. Like the moon in its phases, our experiences are far from static. And akin to the branches of a willow, our patterns can shift by the very thoughts and intentions that sway around us. Are we flexible to the winds of change? Are we listening to the quiet reflective guidance of light within?
Yoga is for every body and every ability. My approach is gentle and mindful. I find this offers a lasting positive effect on the integration of the mind, heart, body and breath. It is an honor to help guide those new or returning to meditation/yoga toward the many physiological, emotional and energetic benefits woven into the practice fabric.
I teach with authenticity and bring the best of what I know and continue to learn. Learning keeps us youthful. I choose to embrace learning experiences and wield them into creative energy of intention to focus practices around client need and interest. I trust the process and work to offer a supportive space for others to consider the potential of discovery along their own enlightened path.
In Peace,
Lydia
